The project was unveiled by SPC Group Vice President Heo Hee-soo on Tuesday during an event at Dunkin Wonders Cheongdam in southern Seoul.
“We have integrated SPC Group’s 80 years of R&D expertise, from flour to starch to fermentation, along with AI-driven technology, into the Wonders concept,” Heo said.
He emphasized that the innovative and surprising experiences offered by the Wonders stores would extend beyond this flagship location to franchise outlets across the country.
Heo also highlighted that the new offerings align with the current trend toward health-conscious eating.
“By applying low-sugar options, we’ve made it easier for customers to enjoy donuts without guilt,” he said.
Dunkin Wonders Cheongdam, the first flagship store, is set to open on Thursday, targeting customers in their mid-20s to late 30s who are looking for trendy spaces and experiences.
The store will feature an open kitchen where fresh donuts are made on-site, allowing customers to enjoy them straight from the oven.
Dunkin plans to expand the Wonders concept. In November, the brand will convert its Dunkin Gangnam Live store and the Dunkin Busan Station Ramada store, both currently specialty locations, into Wonders stores.
