The AI+ Certification is awarded by the KSA based on international standards from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). It evaluates AI products’ reliability, security, and quality improvement systems.
The products that received the new AI+ Certification in the year to date include the 2024 models of the “Bespoke AI Wind-Free System Air Conditioner Infinite Line,” the “DVM HOME Wind-Free 1WAY,” and the “DVM S Eco” indoor and outdoor units.
Launched in May 2024, the Bespoke AI Wind-Free System Air Conditioner Infinite Line is noted for its high-efficiency cooling performance as well as its radar sensor that enhances energy efficiency and convenience. The radar sensor detects human movement and recognizes absence, autonomously switching to “AI Absence Energy Saving” mode. It also recognizes absence patterns to switch to energy-saving mode more quickly, helping to reduce unnecessary power consumption.
In addition to its system air conditioners, Samsung Electronics has received AI+ Certification for 12 home appliance items, including refrigerators, washing machines, cordless vacuum cleaners, and robotic vacuum cleaners, making it the industry leader in AI+ certifications.
